My name is Nick and I'm an electrical engineer, amateur astronomer, hillwalker, and backpacker. Inverted World has been my home on the web since around 2007. Originally coded using PHP the site is now predominantly built using the Flask framework in Python.

I have a blog but haven't yet got around to restoring the full archive. It's mainly a way to share photos and memories of holidays both in the UK and abroad, gigs and other bits and bobs.

The hobbies area of the site covers hillwalks and backpacking trips in the Scottish hills and details of my interest in amateur astronomy and astrophotography. I'm currently getting back into model railways and am working on this new area of the site.
